"Guardians of the immune system" in Science Communication Lab
TRR 355 at Deutsches Museum Munich
The TRR355 hosted an exhibition on the topic of regulatory T cells as the “guardians of the immune system” for three days, from April 4th to April 6th, in the Science Communication Lab (SCL) at the Deutsche Museum in Munich.
👏 Thanks to Dr. Veronika Flöter, Dr. Gülsüm Yurteri, María Rocha-Acevedo, Kartikeya Singh, PhD and the rest of the team for their creativity and enthusiasm for Science Communication.
There were different activities for kids, but also many interested adults came and enjoyed pipetting, looking at the slides at the microscopes 🔬 and talking to us about the immune system 🧬 🧫 , our scientific research 🧑🔬 👨🔬 📊 , and of course, about Tregs.
It was an exciting time for our team and a great opportunity to share our research with the public – the team at the Science Communication Lab already confirmed they’d be happy to host us again next year.
